Lonely Planet review for Pavilion

Occupying the old boathouse overlooking Patriarch’s Ponds, it’s hard to beat this place for atmosphere. While the pavilion dates from the 19th century, the interior is chic and contemporary – a good match for the menu, which attempts to update the Russian classics. Go for one of the rich, creamy soups served with dark peasant bread baked on the premises.
