Lonely Planet review
This 19th-century neoclassical edifice is an atmospheric option to retire to after shopping on ul Petrovka or seeing a ballet at the Bolshoi. Indeed, guests have been doing exactly that for more than a century. The rooms are traditional and comfortable, though nothing fancy, unless you dish out some extra cash for a suite (from R7500).
Our independent authors have visited Budapest Hotel and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Tverskoy.
