Moscow Entertainment

  1. Tinkoff

Moscow's branch of this now-nationwide microbrewery features sports on the big screen, lagers and pilsners on draught, and a metre-long sausage on the menu (yikes). The modern interior and excellent food attract a slightly older, upscale crowd, who come for the impressive line-up of international DJs and bands. It's pretty classy for a beer place.

  2. Voodoo Lounge

Tucked away in the western back streets of the city is Moscow's hot spot for serious dancing. The exotic international theme includes local DJs, live music (rock and Latin), salsa lessons on Tuesday nights, carnivals, theme nights and an Arabian-style chill-out room. All nights fill with regulars so be early to skip the queue.

  3. Zima (Winter)

One of three seasonal-themed clubs that change location and concept every few months to ensure that they'll always be fresh and trendy. They also seem to get more exclusive with every incarnation.
