Getting there & away
Suburban trains run from Moscow's Rizhsky vokzal to Istra (R42, 1½ hour, hourly), from where buses run to the Muzey stop by the monastery. If the weather is fine, a 20-minute walk from the Istra train station is a pleasant alternative.
