Getting there & away
Sinaia is on the Bucharest–Braşov rail line –126km from the former and 45km from the latter – so jumping on a train to Bucharest (1½ hours) or Braşov (€3.60, one hour) is a cinch.
Buses and maxitaxis run every 45 minutes between roughly 7am and 10pm from the central bus stop on B-dul Carol I to Azuga and Buşteni (€0.50, 10 minutes), some all the way to Bucharest (€3.80, 1½ hours) or Braşov (€1.40, one hour). Rates are less than the train; pay the driver when you board. There’s little room for luggage usually.
