Lonely Planet review
Posh boutique hotel occupies a historic 14th-century townhouse that once served as the town hall. Rooms are priced as standard or deluxe, with the latter being larger and usually offering split levels, wood rafters, and better views. All of the rooms are decorated differently, so you might want to look at a few. It's dead central.
Our independent authors have visited The Council and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Sibiu.
