Lonely Planet review
Spotless Gabriel has peaceful accommodation in uncrowded dorms. There's also an outside area for barbeques and a welcoming kitchen/self-catering area, plus individual lockers. Eponymous owner Gabriel offers myriad day trips (plus the odd shot of homemade plum brandy) and is a qualified guide. Take bus 51 from the train station to the last stop; the door is just across the street.
Our independent authors have visited Gabriel Hostel and selected this as one of our recommended hostels in Braşov.
