Bahía de Fosforescente
These glittering waters are La Parguera's biggest tourist draw, though it's actually not one bay but two: Bahía Monsio José and Bahía La Parguera. Both lie east of town and are nearly encircled by mangroves. You reach them via narrow canals through the mangrove forest and, if you come here at night, bioluminescent micro-organisms in the water put on a surreal light show.
