Sights in Cabo Rojo

  1. Centro Interpretativos Las Salinas de Cabo Rojo

A small center further south along Hwy 301 toward the lighthouse explains the geology and ecology of the salt pans. It is staffed by knowledgeable eco-sensitive guides who can give thorough explanations of the local flora and fauna. Across the road is a three-story wooden lookout tower that offers a bird’s-eye view of the salt pans, a major bird migratory corridor.
