Hotel El Guajataca
Lonely Planet review
About 5 miles east of Isabela in Quebradillas, El Guajataca is a run-of-the-mill parador – ie slightly dog-eared rooms, keen-to-please staff and good family facilities – notable for its stupendous north coast setting. Perched on a grassy cliff overlooking the Atlantic, this is Puerto Rico at its wildest and most romantic, although the fairly bland hotel hardly emulates the setting, despite the new ‘bed lounge.’ There’s two nice pools, a tennis court and easy access to a great surfing (but not swimming) beach.
Our independent authors have visited Hotel El Guajataca and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Isabela & Around.
