Set smack on the Ribeira’s riverfront, this is the most congenial of a long line of touristy riverside restaurants. Go early to bag an ­upstairs front table for views of the Douro.

    Far from Lonely Planet standards

    affurlan does not recommend this,

    Sincerely, to be " the most congenial of a long line of touristy riverside restaurant" should not be enough to be listed in Lonely Planet recommendations. Food is more than basic, expensive price. It really doesn´t worth. Avoid it!

    donjl recommends this,

    This place has reasonable food as per the guide but they charged our credit card three times and so far have not reversed any orf the entries. The food is not worth the hassle of having to get your bank to reverse the entries so avoid this waterfront restaurant if possible
