Amid azulejos, dark wood furnishings and starched white place settings, O Escondidinho serves excellent traditional cuisine. Chefs here combine fresh ingredients and a wood-burning oven to create classic bacalhau dishes and flavourful baked octopus, while grilled seafood dishes are equally impressive.

    Classic old school glamour

    barcelona83 recommends this,

    The moment you step through the door from the busy street you are transported to another era. The decor is traditional and glamourous, with immaculately laid tables and a beautiful mural on the wall. The service here is second to none. Happily the food and wine lives up to expectations too. Highly recommended!
