This cafe has a wonderful shady terrace and is everyone’s favourite spot. The food is excellent (don’t miss the Chocolate St Emilion dessert). One of the Algarve’s liveliest restaurants north of the coast, it has an elegant interior and in summer has occasional live jazz, fado and African music.

    delicious food, good music, amazing setting

    such a magical place! absolutely loved Cafe Ingles. next to the Castle, great sights, very nice service, fantastic food, average prices, warm welcome, the music and atmosphere were so great people actually stood up and danced for over two hours. all staff are very helpful and speak english and german, so weird orders aren't a problem! went there on a warm winter night and chose table near the fireplace; imagine it would be even nicer on a summer night in their cosy terrace. will definitely go back on my next visit to Algarve
