A defining dining experience awaits at chef João Rodrigues' slick, contemporary Michelin-starred restaurant overlooking the riverfront. Rich textures and clean, bright flavours dominate throughout three tasting menus (Land, Tradition and Travel) showcasing Portugal's rich and vibrant bounty. Egg-yolk, cheese and spinach ravioli with mushrooms and truffles, and Iberian pork neck with smoked eel, progressively exhilarate on every bite.

From the onset (excellent bread with Joaquim Arnaud olive oil poured over lacquered seashells), and through to engaging wine choices and a few surprises along the way (roasted lettuce hearts over smoking Northern Portugal river stones, a cruelty-free nod to Peru's anticuchos , a skewered-meat street snack), this is where your palette meets paradise. Those springing for tasting menus receive a waxed-sealed menu of their evening signed by the chef – a nice touch.
