Lisbon Restaurants

  1. La Caffé

Upstairs from the Lanidor boutique is this modish restaurant, cafe and bar that makes a great spot to drop in to even if you're not looking for a meal. However it's worth timing your visit for a light lunch or more substantial dinner as the food is good, fresh Italian-based fare. The attractive bar-lounge has access to fashion mags and free internet.

  2. Restô

With a perch-like position overlooking Alfama, this is a wonderful Lisbon setting that's good at lunch and great at dinner. While the menu was oddly assembled by colour when we visited, the food was light and perfectly matched our sensation of floating above the city. There's a lively tapas bar here as well.

  3. Stasha

A funky, lively restaurant-bar, Stasha has adventurous dishes with international flavours and good veggie choices. Inside is peachy and dim, brightened with paintings.
