Lonely Planet review for Pastéis de Belém

Sublime, divine traditional pastéis de Belém custard tarts, with the eggiest, lightest, crispiest tarts, served warm with a sprinkling of cinnamon and sugar. The recipe is secret, but these tarts taste like they've been made by angels. Founded in 1837, the traditional tiled tearoom is pretty.

A Nepali Restaurant just near Pasteis de Belem

    emmilly recommends this,

This Nepali restaurant is new but has really delicious food in affordable price, the dish offers rice to. Grilled boneless chicken flavored with cheese & for vegetarian home made cheese paneer with spinach & curry is mouth watering once you leave the place & recall it after a day. Restaurant is fully decorated as in Nepal style brought from Nepal. Staffs from Nepal are friendly speaking English & Portuguese. Cost per person is average of 10 euros & get a free bookmark at Shangrila dos Himalayas at Rua do Embaixador 128. Near museum dos coches..... enjoy what i did there....

    Divine eggy tarts

    thehappytraveller recommends this,

Come here for one thing: the eggy custard tarts, warm from the oven that just melt in your mouth. Buy them by the 1/2 dozen in the neat takeaway pack or sit down and have the tarts with a cuppa.
