It’s an important cultural area with Jerónimos Monastery, National Coach Museum, Belém National Palace, CCB, Planetario Calouste Gulbenkian, Maritime Museum, Berardo Museum, Discoveries Monument, Belém Tower among many others and also near Tagus river.
The public transportation are excellent with trams, top tour buses for sightseeing, buses and taxis. It’s near Belém Train Station and Belém Ferry Station where you can easily reach Costa da Caparica's beaches (on the other side of the river).
