Clube de Fado hosts the cream of the fado crop in vaulted, dimly lit surrounds. Big-name fadistas performing here include Joana Amendoeira and Miguel Capucho, alongside celebrated guitarists like José Fontes Rocha.

    Lonely Planet Review is spot on

    jamesfoley does not recommend this,

    Overpriced, mediocre food and touristy feel said Lonely Planet, and I would have to agree. I don't mind paying a little over the odds for something good, but this just isn't good. The food is bland to say the least and there are a lot of extras put on the bill at the end you might not be expecting. It is standard in Lisbon to include a cover charge for the bread and nibbles, which if you don't eat you don't get charged for, but here they also added a fee for the Fado music as well!
