    My favorite place in Cascais

    This is a great place off the beaten path. When I was there, the only other person there was a local man reading the newspaper while he ate. The Gazpacho was the best I had in both Spain and Portugal. I also had a fabulous salmon dish, with a curry sauce. The man who served me, who I assume was the owner, was attentive, even with the language barrier. Bypass the touristy places downtown and come up the hill to this place-- you won't regret it!
