Getting there & away
There is a bus service to Lisbon (€7.90, 1¾ hours, about six daily) and Leiria (€6.70, 40 minutes, five daily). There are almost hourly runs to Caldas da Rainha (€5.20, 45 minutes, nine daily) and Alcobaça (€3.80, 20 minutes). The turismo has timetables.
Parking and, in summer, even driving, can be frustrating. But there is a large, free car park one block south of the municipal market.
