This is a traditional, long-established place, in a grand arched, whitewashed cellar hung with brass and ceramics. It offers a big menu of regional fare - try the hearty, inventive carne de porco com amêijoas (pork and clams). There is a nearby café serving similar (but lighter) bites with seats on the praça .
