Núcleo da Guitarra e do Fado de Coimbra/Torre de Anto information
On Rua Sub Ripas in Coimbra's upper town is the Torre de Anto, a tower that once formed part of the ancient city walls. The poet António Nobre (1867–1900) lived there in the late 19th century, thus the tower's name. Since 2015, the Torre de Anto has housed the Núcleo da Guitarra e do Fado de Coimbra (Guitar and Fado of Coimbra Centre), part of the Municipal Museum network.
