Malta Park Railway

Lonely Planet review

East of Ostrów Tumski on the far bank of the river, beyond the Rondo Śródka, you’ll find the terminus of this tourist railway. It runs miniature trains along the shoreline of the 70-hectare artificial Lake Malta (Jezioro Maltańskie), a favourite summer spot for families, picnickers and boating enthusiasts.

The railway terminates at the New Zoo . This sprawling institution covers 116 hectares at the eastern end of the lake, and houses diverse species including Baltic grey seals in a leafy pine-forest environment.
