Getting there & around
The bus and train stations are close to each other, about 2km southwest of the Old Town. To get to the centre, take bus 18 from the station, or bus 2, 4, 11, 12, 18 or 19 from the nearby main road (2.20zł).

Bus & tram
Bus
There are 12 buses to Poznań daily (21zł, 2½ hours) via Gołuchów (7zł, 25 minutes), seven to Wrocław (22zł, 2½ hours) via Antonin (11zł, one hour), and one to Toruń (34zł, four hours). The hourly suburban bus 12A to Pleszew Szpital also passes through Gołuchów (4.40zł, 40 minutes); it stops in Kalisz centre on Plac Jana Pawła II.
Train
Trains to Łódź (28zł, 1¾ hours) run about every two hours throughout the day. There are fast trains to Warsaw (42zł, 5¼ hours, three daily), Wrocław (31zł, 2¼ hours, three daily) and Poznań (31zł, 2½ hours, six daily).
