I'm scheduled to travel from Krakow to Budapest on the night of 9th October. I've been checking online and the train prices seem to be ridiculously expensive at the moment, most around 400-odd PLN for a 6 person couchette.
I considered using OrangeWays buses but they don't ride out on the 9th of October and I cannot possibly reschedule my date for travelling.
I've also considered using BlaBla car but I guess there isn't any surety with that because there aren't any schedules as…

I rented a car at the Gdansk airport with my California drivers licence. When I was questioned by the police in Gdynia on another matter, they asked to see my drivers licence. They said I could not drive in Poland with just a US driver's licence. I must also have a paper that stated that I was allowed to drive a car in Poland. Since I did not have this paper, they fined me 500 Zloti.
Can someone tell me if you can just turn up to the Jewish Cemetery in Lodz, Zmienna Street during opening hours, pay my 6 zloty and get in. I have heard that that you need to get a combined museuem ticket and from another source that you need to get a key from somewhere else. Also is it easy to get to the cemetery from the main train station on public transport - or should i just take a taxi (and what should it cost). I am a bit restricted on time.

As a green bean,I have something to ask:
I'm looking for a bit of advice here on the cheapest and most efficient way to travel from Krakow to Ljubljana. I've done a bit of research, and it seems the following:
It is possible to take a train, but this takes around 17 hours and I can't find an exact price. Has anyone taken a train and knows the general price for this route?
There seems to be no buses running direct from Krakow to Ljubljana. Is there any bus line servicing this route that I am missing? If not, what would be…
Located in London. I have a card with some remaining credit (don't remember how much) for use in the Parlament club in Gdansk--not returning there before it expires at the end of 2014. Collect from my office in Old Street if you like it.
