Boating & Maritime
The Mistrzostwa Polski w Pływaniu na Byle Czym is a highly bizarre and entertaining open event for homemade vessels, held at the end of July on the Netta River.
Has an excellent selection of short and long trips and English-friendly guides, though the offices are a 30-minute walk south of the city centre.
Easier to get to from the centre than Szot, though mainly serves Polish school groups and is less adept at handling walk-ins.
Shows & Theatre
Held in July and August.
