Need an opinion! So in Mid-October we'll be going to Poland for 2 weeks, the first 4 nights will be spend in Gdanks, that is I will have 2 Full days and half day when I arrive as the 4th day I will leave to another place early.
Our plan was 1 day and a half in Gdansk, 1 day for Marlbork Castle, and 1 day Torun.
We love museums and architecture and nice towns, so do you think we should see all the major attractions of Gdansk if we dedicate a full day and may be a half day (when we arrive) for…
I'm planning a trip to Eastern Europe at the end of November to early December. Would like to check if there is possibility of ice in Zakopane region at that time for winter sports? (Namely ice climbing). If not what are the alternatives around Poland or even within Eastern Europe?
Also are there any agencies that provide guided ice climbing trips and if yes how can I get in touch with them/book earlier as I can't seem to find any info online.
Thanks and appreciate anyone who can…
Hello, I am planning a trip to Poland with a few of my friends. We will be visiting Gdansk for 5 days and I have a dilemma with choosing acommodation. The question is - center or closer to the sea? We want to explore the city, enjoy some nightlife and just have fun. An area with some pubs, shops and cafes would be nice. Is it worth it to stay by the beach in Gdansk or is it better to just stay in the center and go to Sopot for swimming, since it seems the beaches are nice there and it's not far?…
I will be staying in Warsaw for 2 weeks for a training course and I have the weekend free, so I decided to go for a hiking trip in the Tatra mountain in Zakopane.
I am not an experienced hiker, because I do not have the chance to do it a lot, but I really do like this activity A LOT!
Is there some kind of guide that takes groups of people to hiking in Tarta mountain? As I will be a lone I want to be with a safe company (guide+group of other hikers).
Where can I fine such help? and how…
I will be in Poland for about ten days this September and I'm planning on hiking from Krakow to Czestochowa. I might start a little farther south. My question has to do with open country hiking - is it permissible in this part of Poland (within reason)? Will I find accommodations in the villages along the way or should I focus on getting to the larger towns?
Thank you very much for any help you can give me.
