I'm thinking of visiting Krackow and then spending 4 days on the slopes, however I'm a bit worried about the snow.
I'm a relative beginner and from what I've read the mountains for beginners will be far from guaranteed at this time of year, and a commentator on here replied to a similar subject on here recently saying it gets quite warm and they use fake snow at this time of year, which isn't promising considering I'm thinking of going in 6 weeks. So, will it be worth the risk?
Hi! we are planning a short getaway soon. We have been in Krakow and loved it, but are also a bit curious about G´dansk. Anyone who has seen both? Which city would you recommend ? Just want to stroll around, eat good food, maybe listen to some Music. We are a middleaged couple travelling from Sweden. Thanks!
I'm heading to Poland this weekend with some friends. We had been planning a winter activity trip, but I hear the snowfall hasn't been very good. We're going to Zakopane.
Does anyone know what the current situation is?
For example is there snow on the ski slopes or higher up?
I'm beninng to plan a trip to Poland for this summer and I have some doubt on it.
(first... sorry for typos... )
1st - We are 6, so I will need to rent a van there... I had bad experience with sixt in France so I tend to avoid major renting companies. Is there any local company for such a service ?
2nd - The trip is about 10 days, we plan 3 or 4 days in Krakow and then we are undecided on two options: first is to go to Wroclaw - Prague for the rest of the days, second is to go to the Bialowieza…
I am planning on heading to Zakopane in June, and would like to hike anywhere between 2 to 4 weeks, although the longer the better. Does anyone out there have experience and knowledge of hiking in this area and particular mountain routes that are particularly spectacular? Do these routes have accommodation places along the way?
Thanks for any information!
is Bielsko Biala an interesting place to visit for a couple of days ? When yes, what can we do ? Any nice walking trails which can be reached by public transport ? Nice bars / restaurants ? is it easy to reach from Krakow ? thanks heinoo
My husband and I will be visiting Auschwitz in early May. What forms of transportation are available which would allow us to leave Auschwitz in late afternoon and get to Ostrava in the Czech Republic by early that evening?
What's the latest about this? Searching finds only outdated information. It looks like going via Warsaw is the best option. What do you recommend? I'd prefer train but not too many changes in that case.
Hello, I would like to travel by rail from Vienna to Krakow and then Krakow to Budapest in April. I am having a bit of difficulty booking this (with Eurail Global Pass). I have followed some advice from the "Man in Seat 61" website but have not had any luck. Any information would be helpful. Thank you
Hello, please would someone let me know what times the Leo express goes from Krakow - Prague? Also how much economy/business/premium, tickets are? Thanks (I cant seem to translate the website!) I will be travelling on approximately 15 June 2016, one way.
