Getting there & away
The bus and shuttle-train stations are 1.5km northeast of the Rynek. At least six fast buses go to Kraków (12zł, 2½ hours) every day and there are almost hourly departures for Nowy Sącz (6.50zł, two hours). Buses also go to Nowy Targ (13.60zł, two hours) and Krosno (5zł, 1½ hours) three times a day. Buses run every half-hour or so to Biecz (1.80zł, 30 minutes).
The main railway station is at the village of Zagórzany, 5km to the northeast, which is linked with Gorlice by a shuttle train running back and forth every two or three hours. From Zagórzany, there are a couple of daily trains to Jasło (10zł, 40 minutes) and Kraków (19.50zł, three hours).
