Hello, I am planning a trip to Poland with a few of my friends. We will be visiting Gdansk for 5 days and I have a dilemma with choosing acommodation. The question is - center or closer to the sea? We want to explore the city, enjoy some nightlife and just have fun. An area with some pubs, shops and cafes would be nice. Is it worth it to stay by the beach in Gdansk or is it better to just stay in the center and go to Sopot for swimming, since it seems the beaches are nice there and it's not far?

Hi,

I will be staying in Warsaw for 2 weeks for a training course and I have the weekend free, so I decided to go for a hiking trip in the Tatra mountain in Zakopane.

I am not an experienced hiker, because I do not have the chance to do it a lot, but I really do like this activity A LOT!

Is there some kind of guide that takes groups of people to hiking in Tarta mountain? As I will be a lone I want to be with a safe company (guide+group of other hikers).

Where can I fine such help? and how…

Hello,

I will be in Poland for about ten days this September and I'm planning on hiking from Krakow to Czestochowa. I might start a little farther south. My question has to do with open country hiking - is it permissible in this part of Poland (within reason)? Will I find accommodations in the villages along the way or should I focus on getting to the larger towns?

Thank you very much for any help you can give me.

Ben

**Here are my questions:

Will be in Wroclaw for 4 nights in end October. We are thinking of spending 2 full days touring Worclaw and another day to do a side trip.

What do you suggest:
Karkonosze Mountains Tour (http://www.wroclawsightseeingtours.com/en/activity/19045/karkonosze-mountains-tour)
or
Pearls of Lower Silesia (http://www.wroclawsightseeingtours.com/en/activity/19043/pearls-of-lower-silesia)

Note that I will be in Poland for 2 weeks, visiting Gdanks, Warsaw and Krakow, and I will be going to Zakopane.

Thanks…

I will be in Poland for 2 weeks from mid October. For during the day do you think layers will be fine, that is: short sleeve top, a fleece zip-up and a light jacket. Then for the evenings (dinner time - 8pm-10pm) will a knitted top and a parka be fine?

Thanks.

Hello!
I will visit South Poland by car, and I'm looking for an hotel.
I would like to stay as near as possible to the city centre, but I guess it's not possible to park the car in the road.
Are there private parking in the area? (Or is it a resident only area?)
How much more or less do I expect to pay? (I would like a parking were you can pay for day, not a place where you have to put coins every 2 hours).
Is it possibile to park freely just outside the city center?
Thanks
