MacArthur Memorabilia Rooms
MacArthur Memorabilia Rooms information
Lonely Planet review
WWII buffs will want to visit the MacArthur memorabilia rooms on the 2nd floor of the College Assurance Plan (CAP) building. Housed in rooms that MacArthur used in the (now decaying) grandeur of the 1910 Price Mansion, this is a charming mini museum featuring photographs and other titbits. Outside is a statue of MacArthur and Filipino president Sergio Osmeña, which captures the moment when power was handed back to the Filipino government. On weekends, you can ask the watchman downstairs to let you in.
