Panglao Island Nature Resort
Lonely Planet review
One of the more beautifully integrated resorts on the island, the cheaper rooms on this 14-hectare property have a holiday-house feel with sweeping ocean views, while the more upmarket bungalows have showers that look out onto a private garden, a spa bath built into the balcony and good feng shui indoors. A sea-view restaurant with a creative menu offers a good range of healthy salads (P220). Rates include a complimentary half-hour massage and transfer from Tagbilaran. Nonguests can pay the P450 consumable fee to use its stunning white-sand beach and infinity pool, which has bay views.
