I have a rather specific request. Where in Manila and Palawan can I play table tennis? Halls and budget accommodations? My friend and I will be backpacking on a budget through them both. We enjoy the game while traveling and find it a fun thing to do other than spending all the moneys. Cheers!
So this will be the first time I will be going to the Philippines, so I need a little help on planning my trip. I will be their for 3 weeks in June. I fly in Bacolod and then I will head to Cebu, but where else should I go. I want to explore the cities, enjoy the night life every where I go, snorkeling/diving, and really experience the culture. Any advice will be helpful.
Should I bring a suit case or traveling back pack?
Places to stay over night, doesn't really matter a hotel or resort…
I am thinking of visiting Boracay and meet some friends around 15th of May until 22th and then move on to Coron/El Nido until 2nd of June. I still havent't booked tickets ,cause I don't want to go there and have rain or strong winds every day. It's OK with a rain shower/day that last like 15 minutes, but I would not like to have 2 or 3 hours rain every day, especially if it happens in the middle of the day when plp want to be on the beach or go snorkeling etc.
The other option to…
I arrive at the Cebu airport with the gf from Seoul at 12.30 late at night after midnight. From the airport is it possible to reach Alona beach by a taxi transfer? (if so, how much?). Or is it best to book our 6 a.m ferry from pier 1 in advance? (If I take this option, I am a little concerned about the time from 00.30 to 6:00 a.m in regards to how to get to the ferry, plus where we can wait safely at that late hour)
I have booked to Travel Manila > El Nido > Cebu (possibly Moalboal) > Boracay and I have heard from a few people after booking it is not safe for a caucasian female to travel alone.
I will be 23 and have travelled most of Europe, America, Vietnam, Hong Kong and before the Philippines I am travelling Thailand and Bali. Bar America, HK and some parts of Europe I have always had company - be that with friends or a tour group. I always wanted to take the plunge and go on my own and decided…
Can you please help me with my PLAN please, where to stay/sleep, what to see and do in CEBU CITY & BOHOL? (specific area to sleep in Cebu City and Alona Beach on Bohol).
Firstly, I will be there from MAY 10th. ‘Number of days I go for is dependent on this feedback, therefore I am flexible’.
I'll be there on my own. I’m in my 30's, I enjoy snorkeling and a little diving, nightlife and meeting new people. I like cities, as well as a beach holiday, therefore I will be combining the two. AND…
In some days i,m flying to Palawan, i,m arriving in puerto princesa airport at 10:00 in the morning
My intention is visiting the underground river and after that heading to Port Barton to spend the night there, all in the same day.
Do you guys think this is posible to do?
If anybody can provide me some info to achieve this, would be great.
Thanks in advance.
We are planning our honeymoon in Philippines in the last week of December.
Would love to spend 2-3 days on a beach and 2-3 days for nature/wild/unexplored destination.
Since that would be a Christmas season, any must visit place at that time??
Appreciate your suggestions.
I have spent a month with my boyfriend in the Philippines last February, and I figured I'd share our budget report in case it can help other travellers to plan an upcoming vacation.
I've left out certain things, our flight in, simply because in can vary a lot, vaccination we had done before hand and health expenses because I had to get stitches for a stupid accident and hopefully, that won't happen to you!
Our itinerary was: landing in Cebu, Moalboal next day (5days), Dumaguete…
