It's a good thing the cushions you crash on are comfortable since you could fit in a short nap by the time your food arrives. True Food's Far Eastern ambience is especially romantic at night and the menu features a good choice of vegetarian dishes; the huge set meals are delicious but pricey.

A relatively small but distinctly upmarket place serving Indian specialities and a few Malaysian and Middle Eastern options. The curries are especially toothsome here. Kashmir also has a Makati location on Pasay Rd.

Banana Leaf Curry House
This long-running Makati veteran has an attractive dining room overlooking Greenbelt Park. The flavours are both subtle and complex. The curries are much loved as are the many spicy crab dishes.
