Aside from the cliffs factor – a dramatic backdrop and some morning shade – these cottages should only be a backup if beachfront accommodation is full. Some of the toilets have seats, but even these tend to be broken, and the concrete front patios are furnished with tables and chairs circa a 1970s high-school classroom.
