Hello,
My boyfriend and I are traveling to the Philippines for 10 days in November. We are trying to choose the top 2-3 things to do and not overbook our time. We are hoping to see Palawan (El Nido), perhaps the whale sharks in Donsol and the threshers in Malapascua. Is this over booking? Can anyone suggest a travel itinerary out of Manila? I am thinking fly from Manila to Donsol but then how to Malapascua and can I fly from Malapascua to Palawan?
THanks for any help you can offer! :)

If you only had time for one of these places which one and why? From what I've read El Nido isn't everything it's made out to be. If the only reason to go to El Nido is to travel to different islands you can do that from Port Barton as well..correct? What is the biggest draw to El Nido? I could care less about "Night Life" so if that's a reason I don't need it.

Honeymoon Advice

Hi all,

I just got married and we're in the process of planning our honeymoon. We're heading to the Philippines in November/December and are choosing between the following itineraries:

1 - 4 nights Bohol -> 4 nights Malapascua -> 2 nights Sabang -> 5 nights El Nido

2 - 4 nights Bohol -> 2 nights Sabang -> 4 nights Coron -> 5 nights El Nido

We're trying to limit travel time as much as possible while visiting a few places and seeing the sites, but also relaxing at the beaches, snorkeling…

Hi guys,

So, my friend and I (two girls, 23 years old) are travelling to the Philippines 20 days from the end of august till mid september. We already know that it's not the best time to go there because of the weather... but still we are very excited!

We haven't planned yet the itinerary that we want to do, so I was wondering if you could give us some advice or recommend us some places that we can't miss. Our plan is to do a bit of everything (relaxing, adventure, hiking, some party, we are…

Hi,
I am planning to fly from Cebu to Puerto Pricenca on Christmas day at 14:25. As ill be in bohol i plan to take an early boat around 8 am to be in Cebu around 10ish with still plently of time to make it for the flight. But now am getting woried whether ferries will be working? Anyone has any knowledge on that? If there are doubts about the 25th then perhaps i can fly on the 24 or 26? Would these be ok?

Thanks

I already know the answer to this is probably El Nido(palawan)and kind of planned it, just want to see what others suggest.

Me and my gf want to kind of stay put somewhere for the week surrounding NYE. Staying somewhere for a few days might aid in meeting some people and make our time there more fun and interesting taking into account the festive days. Not looking for crazy drunk party vibes but some fun would be nice. It would be nice if its not too touristy and fake, great beaches, chilled…
