Where Great Place and Delicious Food Merged

    gemalfred recommends this,

From the famous Manila bay sunset to the freshest seafood, exciting Harbor View is designed to please the eye and arouse the palate. This is what I heard of, so I lured my friends to check the place and see for ourselves. As soon as we have entered the restaurants we can’t help but feel relax because of the soothing sounds of the waves of the bay underneath the restaurant itself.

As we are seated, a waiter who smiles a lot gives us the menu. As I read the menu I can’t help but look at the different pictures on it showing a perfectly made dishes. Of course, at first I don’t believe it. I am very tired of the different commercials showing how good and how big the servings of their food, then the moment you buy it you will be in for a very big disappointment. After a few minutes I, together with my friends, calmly ordered a crab dish and “Tinolang Lapu-Lapu” (famous viand in the Philippines).

As soon as we are finished ordering the food, the waiter politely ask us to choose from their aquariums the crab and fish we like to be used in our dinner. We are very surprised because it is seldom to see restaurants that allow you to pick the fresh seafood that will be use for your dinner. So I gladly choose the crab and the fish (Lapu-lapu).

As we wait for our food, I sense something is unusual. I observe my surroundings and (Aha! I got it) we are one of the few Filipino customers around. Most of them are foreigners just enjoying the experience. I never imagined that this vibrant place is so famous.

Overall, the ambience of the place (restaurant with a dining room which is built on stilts stretching into the sea) and the delicious food is what makes people crave for more.
