Lonely Planet review for Bellini's
This hip little Italian café serves good pizzas under the watchful gaze of an eclectic wall of fame (photos of purported customers). It's popular with local artists, many of whom have shops in adjoining storefronts.

Authentic Italian Ristorante

Bellini’s is the best fine-dining Italian restaurant here in the Philippines.
Upon entering, a warm welcome awaits you from the gracious owner himself. The waiters are friendly & so attentive. Actually, during my first visit, I asked the waiter a couple of questions regarding their food & I’m impressed because he answered all my questions to my satisfaction. He even recommended their best sellers.
It’s a delightful place away from the crowd. This is highly recommended specially for couples for who have no plans yet this coming Valentine’s Day. The romantic ambiance created by their singers would really make your dinner date more intimate.
It’s also like a photo gallery because of the photographs that were used as decorations. The owner himself is a photographer. The photographs will really catch your attention, especially now that a number of us are into photography. The chairs & decorations will give you this rustic comfortable feeling. Also, the owner is really conversant & very charming. With his presence, you’ll never get bored.
It’s where you will enjoy real home-style Italian food. They have the best pizzas in the metro, so thin yet so CRISP and not greasy. A word to describe their pizzas, SUPERB! While you’re waiting for your pizza to be served, you can munch on the breadsticks served by their waiters. The puttanesa are really darn good. It’s oozing with tomato sauce made from real tomatoes, olives, garlic & anchovies. The seafood pasta with olive oil is also delicious. Of course, HEAVENLY panna cotta will always be in my list whenever I visit Bellini’s. Their pasta are all properly cooked & definitely a highlight.
All their dishes are served warm, fresh & fast. Service is IMPECCABLE. Bathrooms are CLEAN. The prices of their Italian dishes are very reasonable and they even give generous servings.
I will definitely be visiting Bellini’s again to try out other Italian cuisines in their menu!

Deliciously Healthy!

Yum! I've never had Italian food this good, fresh, and natural in this country.
As my husband, son, and I sat down our quaint little table, we were immediately served with these uniquely shaped breadsticks to be dipped in chili olive oil and parmesan cheese. We ordered Mix Salad, which is mixed greens with anchovies. The waiter makes the dressing and tosses the salad in front of you, which was quite novel. Upon his recommendation, we also ordered Four-Cheese Pizza, Pizza Campagnola, and the pasta sampler featuring 3 kinds of pasta in one plate (red sauce, white sauce, oil-based).
Everything was heavenly. The pizzas had these thin, crisp crusts and were not at all greasy. They were not only tasty, they felt light and healthy too! The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. The red sauce tasted of tomatoes, ham, and cheese. The white sauce was seafood-based complete with clams, mussels, oysters, and scallops. The oil-based pasta was the classic olive oil and garlic combination with a touch of red chili peppers. I could not resist their panna cotta so I ordered one... it was definitely one of the most delicious desserts I've ever had in my life. It's so heavenly one order is not nearly enough.
All the food we ordered set us back around 1400 pesos (under US$30). Pizzas cost anywhere from 160-250 pesos (US$3-5) for the small size, and double the price for the large size. Pastas cost anywhere from 200 pesos (US$4) and up, although the big serving of 3 kinds of pasta in one plate set us back 700 pesos (US$7). The salad cost a little under 200 pesos (US$4), and the Panna Cotta was exactly 100 pesos (US$2).
Service is okay provided the restaurant isn't full. The waiters do get harassed and confused when the place is packed full. It is best to make reservations before you pay Bellini's a visit. The dimly-lit and homey setting is ideal for quiet lunches and dinners be it for business or pleasure.
