My personal top 5 are crunchy squid heads, liempo (chargrilled pork cutlet), blue marlin steak, sisig (pig head parts sizzled to perfection) and crispy pata (deep fried pig's leg).  Take it from a local that has eating quite a lot of Filipino food: Gerry's is as authentic and delicious as you can get.

A convenience nearest to the Hotels and also to the manila bay walk,  great place to unwind after a long workweek. I was a little reluctant to go out since it was a Thursday but I'm glad I decided to just forget about work the next day and go. 

Friend and I arrived at the place just a little before 8pm - his office mates were already waiting for us. The place was just filling up, mostly with people who's initially looking for food to fill their stomachs before drinking, just like us.  I tried the chicken kebab while he got the grill tuna. Both were good, considering it was just a little over a 100 pesos. cheapest bill but you can solve your hungry stomach Oh and you Have to try their frozen iced tea - really good! After eating, we transferred to a table outside where we enjoyed our drinks.

It was the first time we tried that branch, since we just usually go to the one in Malate. I have to tell you, the place is great. The space inside is big, and even with all the people there, it's not claustrophobic. Provides the right ambiance for dinner and drinks.

It was Rockeoke or Drinkeoke, as the owner said)  every night and we really enjoyed it. One of the owners,  was there and he mingled with the crowd, hopping from one table to the other, talking to the customers and having a laugh with them. He's really entertaining (and quite attractive, too. He kicked off Rockeoke night by singing. Besides being a Rockeoke night.

The waiting staff and branch manager were also really friendly. They kept coming over to our table, asking if we needed anything else. And, they talk to us as well.

Will we go back? Definitely! I really can't say anything bad about the place - good food, affordable drinks, nice ambiance, decent crowd, great staff... Clean...What else could I ask for?

They serve delectable Filipino dishes, mostly sizzling delights in a cozy casual ambiance, where one can sit back and relax and enjoy a drink or two - plus a good conversation - with friends and family.

They are known for their sumptuous dishes. This includes mouthwatering seafood specialties such as Inihaw na Pusit and Bangus a la Pobre; delectable Seafood Kare-Kare and Beef Kaldereta; best-selling Crispy Pata, Sizzling Sisig and Lechon Kawali; Chicken Honey and also Seafood Pinaputok.

THE FEEL : The place is pretty cool. The dining is casual and fun but still a little elegant with its familiar menu yet sophisticated. Simple dishes done well. You must go to experience it.

THE CHALLENGE: P1,000 pesos- Dinner for two is it conceivable in Gerry's?  Definitely worth it!

THE FOOD: The food is simple, it looks simple but when you dig in it. Your instantly satisfied.

THE SERVICE: Friendly, Informative and efficient.

Overall Gerry's Grill will continue to provide everyone and anyone who loves to eat with fresh food that is cooked, grilled, or prepared to satisfy the most distinguishing of palates. Ultimately, every item on the menu goes perfectly well with your favorite beverage; whether it be alcoholic or not. For a full meal with the family or for a night-out with the boys or girls, Gerry's Grill offers the perfect place with the perfect menu to fit any occasion at any budget.

"Another garlic rice please!"-- this is a phrase commonly uttered by customers who soon discover that one cup of rice is just not enough. 

With a list of authentic Filipino fares ranging from grilled bangus to the too-good-we-must-name-a-city-after-this pork sisig, Gerry's grill virgins must know three things before dropping in. First, they must come in groups to be able to taste all (or most) of Gerry's specialties. Second is that, calamansi + knorr seasoning + sili labuyo (chili) = great sauce that goes with everything. Finally, forget dieting, 1 cup of rice is just not enough!

It doesn't matter that Gerry's decor is bit jungle-ish and corny, people from all walks of life must be prepared to feast. Take note: it would be sacrilege for anyone to eat there and not order Sisig, Crispy Pata and Grilled Squid (Inihaw na Pusit). Many of the items on the menu are great with an ice cold glass of San Miguel Beer. . . or you could always go for their famous green mango shake to wash it all down. 

Of course, the best part is the bill-- don't be surprised at how such a scrumptiously satisfying meal could be so downright affordable. 

My favorites here are the inihaw na pusit (squid), adobo flakes and the pinaputok na pla-pla. The adobo flakes though are cooked differently in the different branches I've tried-Tomas Morato and Libis. The best and consistent one can be found in the Morato branch-spicy and crunchy, yummy!!! Good with their crab rice.
