Don't miss the tiny entrance on the Plaza de Armas; it opens into a large, bright café selling what may be the best ice cream in northern Peru. It has about 20 changing flavors, including some locally made fruit concoctions. Excellent espressos, creamy cappuccinos and homemade pies round out the menu and draw in the daytime punters.
