Lonely Planet review for Al Grano

Al Grano has a non-spicy menu of varied Asian food, including great vegetarian options, plus big breakfasts and some of Cuzco’s best coffee. You’re welcome to hang out and enjoy it with cards, games, free wi-fi and a book exchange.

    Good Food...

    sarenac recommends this,

I went here to suffice my Southeast Asian cuisine fix. It's probably the only SEA cuisine in town, except for the occasion bar that serves Thai food (but it's not great food). The menu had plate listed by country. All seems very similar in description, but the presentation varied. Overall, it was good food, tasted like its origin. The restaurant vibe was a big lacking. There was one waiter, and only two tables occupied. The decor is slightly Asian influences with much of it just Peruvian art. Perhaps it was once inexpensive, a few US Dollars, but now the prices has risen to be equivalent of 7-8 US Dollars, not including a drink. So, if you're looking to suffice that SEA food craving, go to Al Grano for the food, but not for a recreation of SEA.
