A helping of epicurean delight has descended upon the Monasterio de Santa Catalina. The menu of Italian specialties was created with the help of superstar Peruvian chef Gastón Acurio, and is infused with the flavors of Arequipa. Reservations are essential.

    Outstanding Food & Wine!

    We recently had dinner here and were very happy with the excellent food & wine! The service was good (non-interruptive) but not spectacular (although we were there very late in the evening). The beef carpaccio was insanely delicious, the ceviche (sea bass & shrimp) some of the finest we have had. We also had the vegetarian lasagna (okay) and some kind of sea bass over risotto (outstanding!).

    The setting is nice - semi-hidden in the monastery with very many little separate rooms. You feel as though you are dining in your own private dining room.

    Highly recommended!
