Lonely Planet review for Café Literario

Cool air, music, books (of course) and all that jazz. This artsy, comfy café-bookstore is a great place to read, write or imbibe. Excellent café con lechés (coffee with milk).

    I am so sorry Sharminator but you are wrong. I went yesterday to Cafe Literario and it was not at all over priced!! Coffee 5.000 guaranies and menu of the day (pasta or paraguayan traditional food) for 25.000 guaranies.

    Maybe it was expensive on the past but I doubt it. Cafe Literario is open since 1999. I really appreciated it, nice place to relax, read and buy books. I recommend it!

    Good for a coffee .. but very overpriced food ..

    I´ve been there quite a few times ...

    Good decor its nice for a coffee or a hot chocolate ... but the food is ridiculously overpriced ... you pay 60 000 guaranies for toast and pate ...
