National Parks Board Huts
Lonely Planet review
Halfway up Mt Wilhelm from Kegsugl are two fairly basic huts that are used for overnighting. Bring your own sleeping bag and food. There is no electricity, but you can cook over the bottled-gas stove provided. Guides and porters stay free, although some in Kegsugl will tell you otherwise. Your guide will be given the key for one of the huts when you pay your hut fee down in Kegsugl.
Our independent authors have visited National Parks Board Huts and selected this as one of our recommended accommodation in Mt Wilhelm.
