I everybody, my main interest is beaches and sea, calm beaches I just swim, I don't surf.
How many days do you suggest me to spend in Bocas del Toro? (I like to spend a full day inevry good beaches and to do all excursions by boat, excluding the scuba ones cause I just snorkel).
After Bocas, where else do you suggest me to go for calm water and nice beaches?
Thank you for your answers.
My gf and I are flying into Panama on 14 Jan at 5pm. I have messed up on timings so it appears only boat (san blas adventures) leaving to Colombia is on 17 Jan. Does anyone know if there is one leaving on 18 Jan as I cannot find any for that date and that one extra day would make a difference.
As we will have such little time I've had to re-think my plan to squeeze some things in. I would very much like to go to El Valle and was thinking to explore Panama city, the canal and Soberania.…
Hi, my fiancé and I are looking to do this crossing from Panama to Cartagena in March 17. We are not massive boat fans but this trip looks stunning and I have found a recommended company that use a good quality catamaran. My question is whether this is going to a rough sailing that is likely to make us feel sick and wish we had flown or whether it wont really be that bad. I have e-mailed the company to ask them but also wanted to hear from anyone that has experienced this crossing at this time…
I am planning go to Panama to Golfito and Puerto Jimenez, and I heard there are sometimes trouble for documents at the border.
We carry a booked and paid flight Italy to Panama and Costa Rica to Italy, shoud be enough? I mean ticket Milan - Panama; San Jose - Milan
I've been reading through some posts here but was wandering if you can help me out with additional information. Me and my friends would like to take a boat from Colon to Turbo as cheapest as possible (sometime in december). Have someone got any idea if its possible to travel this route for less. Or if you know about other option, please let me know. Thanks K.
Our itinerary is as such: Nov 27-Dec 1....Panama City what is the BEST Canal trip?
Dec 1-7..............flying to Boca del Toro, day trip to Bastimentos
and this is where I get stuck! I checked out Isle Contadora..it is a small island, and pricy $250 us.
We are travellers, 60+, but do not do hostels. I like my own bathroom. We like snorkelling, cycling,
love beaches, interested in the beautiful birds, toucans etc. My knees are not the…
- I forgot to mention that the bus ticket from Panama City to San Jose Costa Rica cannot be purchased online or even cannot be checked for the price. I wrote a letter in English to the contact us bus terminal and I got a response in English that they plan to do it for 2017. I wanted to know prior to plan my trip where the cost would be more convenient. If you go to Albrook but terminal to purchase it, make sure that you have ONLY CASH.
- Make sure to hold an onward airline ticket if you leave…
I do not wish to discourage you but after spending 21 days in that country I can say that I almost did not see whatI I planned to see in Panama as in any other country in South America where I have been. The lack of efficient public transport and roads stopped me to visit the country north/south/east/west. Taxis are often used there but for me it is not the best way of transport if I wish to know the people of the country I am visiting and since I speak Spanish, there won't be any problem of…
I am planning a trip to Panama of approx 18 days in February as follows- 4 days to explore Panama city and Canal. about a week at Bocas del Toros and a similar amount of time in Boquete. Agenda is mostly relaxation and a little hiking in the Boquete area. Can we catch planes between Panama and Bocas "on the fly" or do we need to book quite far in advance. Ditto for getting to Boquete via David. I am trying not to be too rigid in my itinerary, in case we decide to extend or shorten any of the…
