Lonely Planet review for Masala Indian Cuisine

Nothing complements hot and humid tropical climes quite like a fiery plate of Indian curry and an ice-cold Kingfisher lager. Housed in a historic Bella Vista mansion that's been redecorated with colorful textiles and Indian art, Masala offers a full complement of traditional dishes from the subcontinent. Although non-adventurous eaters can stick to more Westernized dishes like tikka masala and tandori chicken, iron-stomach masochistic types should pile on the heat with dishes like lamb vindaloo.

Good, well presented food and nice setting.

    bye_bye_london recommends this,

A nice curry, excellent samosas, though the chai was a over-spiced. Good service and a pretty interior make this worth a visit, but prices are higher than quoted in the 2010 LP guide (they are around $9-15). Also the location is actually between 44 and 45 calle, not on 42.

It Has moved to Calle Arosemena But not worth the search

    seryan does not recommend this,

Tucked into a tiny store front the food here is really not good. Taj Mahal, around the corner was the best Indian Restaurant in Panama City and they are gone. How this lady holds on is a mystery. She does have an "executive Lunch" at a nice price but the food is not that hot and the closeness of the place would give a claustrophobic a fit.
