In La Exposición, it's all about location, and the Hotel Andino occupies a prime spot on a short dead end street off the main drag (Av Perú). The rooms are big and airy with lots of extras, which is a bonus in this not-terribly-fun area that might find you keeping close to home.
It's no wonder the Hotel Andino drops their prices for stays of a week or more: this is the type of functional, friendly place that you could settle into for the entirety of your trip. The rooms lack charm (almost to the point of dowdiness), but they're clean, big and breezy and equipped like a start up apartment. There's a refrigerator, sink, lots of closet space, air-con, cable TV and hot water. The beds are decent - request a king size for extra play space. You can also ask about getting a two-burner stove for your room. If you don't feel like leaving the hotel at all, there's a bar and restaurant here, making it a convenient choice if you just have to crash overnight between bus departures.
