Hi! I am traveling alone with a 22 hour stopover in Panama City, and I arrive around 3pm. I am staying downtown near the Bristol hotel. I really want to see Ancon Hill, and one of the canals. My main question is, if I take a taxi from my hotel to Ancon Hill, will I be able to easily get a taxi back? I do want to hike up a bit because I am hoping to catch a glimpse of a sloth! I don't want to wander around trying to hail one off of the street if there is any dangerous areas nearby. I would use…
Arrive Panama City from U.S. at night. Leave the next morning for Bocas. Looking for a good, not expensive hotel close to the local airport for an easy get-away the next morning. Recommendations? Thanks, AJK
Arriving into Albrook airport at 10:30 AM on a Sunday in a few weeks and am looking for advice on what is safe to do by myself for the day. I'll be in the city for business but am getting there early so I can see a little.
I will be visiting Miraflores Locks later in the week with a group, which will also include a "city tour". Unfortunately, I don't know yet what that will involve—I have asked my hosts but have not heard back.

6 of us will be arriving at the International Airport on the night of November 24th 2016. We will need a van transport to the Albrook Inn. Can we get one upon our arrival at the airport? Or should we reserve one ahead of time? Any recommendations? What should we expect to pay? Thanks for any help, suggestions.... AJK
I'll be traveling alone to Panama and I'd like to know if it's safe, especially for women, to take the overnight bus from Panama City to Bocas del Toro. I saw that the bus usually departs at 7 or 8pm and takes around 10 hours to get to Almirante/Bocas, so I'd spend the whole night there expecting to be able to safely sleep, of course. Can anyone help me, share some experience or advice?
Hey guys! I'm taking a bus from Bocas Del Toro (Almirante) to David (3 hr bus, 2 hr stop in David) then to Panama City. I have 3 days to do it before flying out of Panama Pacifico Airport and I do NOT want to take any night buses and miss seeing the country. My question is: 1. What is most worth seeing between David and Panama City? Any towns not too far off the main Hwy worth stopping for an extra night? 2. Has anyone done this?/ is it easy to take 4 hour bus rides along Hwy 1 rather than…
My friends are flying from Costa Rica to Toronto, but on the way back to Toronto they have a layover in Panama that lasts for 23 hours. They really want to spend the day in Panama City, but their bags and everything will be checked in. Is it possible for them to leave the airport and return in time for their next flight?
