Lonely Planet review
At the time of writing, the Cliffside was undergoing renovation from its former guise as the Sunrise Villa. However, some rooms were available and they're worth snapping up at any time.
This hotel is blessed with a cracking view, possibly the best of any accommodation in Koror. From a hilltop perch on Arakabesang Island, you can see right over the lagoon to the other islands. Here's some advice: plump for the elegant and spacious doubles with the requisite views; the smaller singles aren't such a good deal, so you might as well upgrade and absorb the slight increase in price. The outside terrace bar, perched higher than the hotel, has even more dreamy views and it also prepares the best margarita in town. The landscaped terrace surrounding the bar is really pretty, and an open-air restaurant is currently being constructed there. It's due for completion some time soon, promising a spectacular dining experience.
Our independent authors have visited Cliffside Hotel and selected this as one of our recommended accommodation in Koror State.
