This is an amiable place that will serve as fully functional headquarters for anyone wishing to explore ...
This place has a genuine ace up its 'sleeve' (assuming a building can be clothed). While it's one of only two hotels in Palau with a beachside location, the beach here is the clear winner: it's simply gorgeous, spread over 300m of sand.
This one's in the heart of a leafy village, on a windy road down a hill from Koror's main drag. It's a pleasant, green spot and that's why the pinky exterior of the hotel will amuse.
The Waterfront Villa has a deserved reputation as one of Koror's best mid-range hotels, even if it is slightly out of the way (relatively speaking; Koror is still a small town, don't forget).
This is a clean and functional hotel that's probably best suited to business travellers, although the downtown location is handy for anyone basing themselves in Koror - it's within walking distance of a clutch of good shops and restaurants.
The Tree-D is a terrific option, with likeable staff, a quirky bungalow charm, and a decent proximity away from downtown Koror. It's unfussed and unpretentious - a budget-class beauty.
This resort is up in the Arakabesang hills, so peace and serenity is assured. And it also garners full points for daring to do something different, as the architecture fully attests.
At the time of writing, the Cliffside was undergoing renovation from its former guise as the Sunrise Villa. However, some rooms were available and they're worth snapping up at any time.
All rooms are clean, comfy, roomy...and bland. That's to say, they're perfect for the traveller who's not looking for upmarket fancies.
